List of TVs that can be flush-mounted to the wall.

So there seems to be a convergence in design across brands where everyone (and their mother) are turning their TVs into simplified slabs. The trend started with Sony's "monolithic design" and a few years ago LG released a TV that attached flat to the wall, with its controls and everything being placed in a separate unit.

Then Samsung released "The Frame", and many of its current series 8/series 9 lines are also similarly flat. LG has one model too currently IINM.

So, is there a comprehensive list, database or guide, India-specific to filter out such TVs and choose the correct model based on their specs?

If not, this thread could become a reference point.

Not sure of a list, but looking for TVs one by one is the best way to go ahead. Better to decide a budget & then look for options. IMO prefer panel over flush design, but Samsung The Frame (2020) is a great TV for its price.

Picture Quality comes first then design the last. Even if you give a CRT type bulky TV with exceptional picture quality people will buy it.

Given the current state of high end TVs, there is no such thing as bad picture quality. Only better or worse relative to each other. Then price differences come into play. For example the Frame in 65" can be had for 1.2 lakhs, but it lacks FALD, which the 8 series and above models have, and consequently Samsung prices the latter at 2-3x the price of The Frame.

I have to buy five TVs next year, of which three have to meet the criteria I specified.

Also, looking at the prices, is it accurate to say that the jump from 55" to 65" results in a 50% price increase, while a jump from 65" to 75"+ results in a minimum 2.5x price increase?

Sometimes you can find older LG OLED TVs for 1.2 lakhs (55"), which is a great deal.
