1. Budget? Around 40k
2. Display type and size? Thinking around 50 inch
3. What will the TV/monitor be used for primarily? It'll be in my bedroom, will be used for gaming by attaching play station or hdmi via laptop and some streaming
4. Types and number of ports required? Hdmi should be there
5. Preferred choice of brand? Idk thinking is anything good form Samsung in my budget but won't mind other brands as well as long as vfm quotient is there.
6. Any TV/monitor in consideration?
I'm all ears for the suggestion.
7. Any other info that you want to share.
I'm looking to buy today only since Prime day sale is already on, so would really appreciate if I can get some help early.

TVs generally have worse response times than monitors, but for consoles, its not a bad idea by any chance.

You won't get 50" 4K TV from Samsung for 40k, their 43" 4K starts at 36/37k. New HiSense TVs have good reviews, Vu used to rebadge HiSense TVs & sell in India. HiSense launched 43" 4K at 25k, 50" option should launch soon at 30-35k. Its initial reviews praise low latency with its game mode. HiSense makes good TVs, no wonder Vu TVs were praised a lot for its price.

Actually Vu 50" 4K is in stock, get it IMO if you live in a big city with its service centre, maybe buy extended warranty:

Otherwise, one of these if you live in Tier 2 or Tier 3 city:

Now the question arises is that suppose I get one of these Vu TV, ps4 will work fine but I might be in the need of upgrading as soon I'll be buying ps5 since these doesn't really support HDR I guess. That's why I was more inclined towards Samsung.
Or Sony for that matter. Their 43 inch 2020 model is also available for 34k.

Those HiSense & Vu TVs have better panels than cheap Samsung & LG. They support Dolby Vision, which isn't a small standard available on any cheap panel. I think cheap LG TVs have 6 bit + FRC vs 8 bit + FRC on cheap Chinese panels. Such panels are present on 50k+ Samsung or LG TVs, I think Dolby Vision certified ones are 70k+.

Sony doesn't have android TV in their cheap models, even LG & Samsung doesn't but LG & Samsung's OS have good app selection.

BTW found these in FK:
Hisense A71F 139cm (55 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart Android TV Online at best Prices In India
Hisense A71F 126cm (50 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart Android TV Online at best Prices In India (OOS)
