Cam Scanner Alternative for Desktop

I use Camscanner or the likes for scanning documents on mobile, however there are many residing on my desktop. Also I prefer to work on desktop instaed of smartphone.

So I would like to know if there are any alternative like that for desktop where I can select any image and it would brighten it like camscanner or tinyscanner does on mobile. I don't want advanced tools like GIMP or Photoshop. Working with that many options confuses me a lot.

Nothing that I know of. I use Office Lens from Microsoft on mobile. It even flattens the image to make it look like flat-bed scanned. Not sure it is possible to find a desktop version.

Enable Cloud Sync on CamScanner and enjoy the world of hassle free documents available everywhere. Most web cams won't give the same quality as your phones multi-megapixel camera.

I didn't meant to hold a paper in front of camera. I only wanted something that could have the import from PC option. I'll try Office Lens.

It uses scanner, right ? That is better. Office Lens will depend on webcam/laptop cam. Which is not very helpful.

Office lens can also import images from pc gallery & if one is using a proper scanner then there is no need for apps like cam scanner/office lens anyway as purpose of these apps is to imitate a scanner.

I see. When I tested, I didn't see the import option. Will try to find it.

Office Lens can do magic even when we import from a scanner. It make the image " as in paper " from camera shots, which is much superior to flat bed scanned images as well.
