Wont be doing any overclocking. Wont be needing everything to run on high settings. Wont be participating in online gaming competitions.
Just relax and enjoy single player campaign games (RPG/FPS/Racing/Sports). Occasional online games. Movies/Series. Some work.
Why have you selected a 4k monitor and RX580?RX 580 is not suitable for 4k gaming.

Is this a question or are you telling us?
Asking for feedback on the selected config. Never before have I done a PC build.

@JohnShepard

Pls fill this...

Thanks. I've edited.

Why have you selected a 4k monitor and RX580?RX 580 is not suitable for 4k gaming.

I'm not targeting for 4K gaming. I chose this monitor since it has IPS panel and 4K with FreeSync, it'll be balanced between gaming and game development(not professionally). Any suggestions are welcome.

Yeah, Ryzen 3000 series will be getting released this year. If you can wait a bit, you can get it.

Ok, What about SATA cable (Mobos to Hardisk) any specific model or product available?
Sata cables are just that, cables. You can buy cheap ones from local shop for Rs.15-20.No need to overthink about it.If a cable doesn't work correctly you can find it out by simply seeing "CRC error count" parameter in crystaldiskinfo software(if its raw value keeps on increasing/changing then cable is faulty else not).

Thank you guys for all of your inputs.

After reading your recommendations I've selected this as an alternate pc configuration:
MOBO - Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro WIFI
CPU - Ryzen 7 2700 (I think I'll be able to squeeze this in. This will be more helpful towards non-gaming task that I have in mind.)
RAM - Ripjaws V 16GB (8GB x 2) 2666MHz DDR4
GPU - AORUS Radeon RX580 8G
SSD - WD Blue 3D Nand 500GB M.2
PSU - CM MWE Gold 650
CASE - CM MasterCase H500
MONITOR - LG 24UD58 FreeSync
KB - Logitech G413 Carbon
MS - Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury

ORIGINAL config:
MOBO - Gigabyte H370 AORUS GAMING 3 WIFI
CPU - i5 8600
RAM - Ripjaws V 16GB (8GB x 2) 2666MHz DDR4
GPU - AORUS Radeon RX580 8G
SSD - WD Blue 3D Nand 500GB M.2
PSU - CM MWE Gold 650
CASE - CM MasterCase H500
MONITOR - LG 24UD58 FreeSync
KB - Logitech G413 Carbon
MS - Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury

As I understand there are alternate suggestions to other components. Requesting you guys to provide reason for suggesting the alternatives.

This weekend I'll start to go out and contact the vendors/shopkeepers to get the quotations on these configs.

That mobo is not a good option especially for a 2700. MSI gaming pro carbon ac costs almost same & has been widely accepted as the best B450 mobo on tech forums/youtube channels/reddit globally. If you are concerned about "negative MSI after sales support in India comments on reddit" then you can go with asus, gigabyte in either case will be a bad choice for ryzen 2700.

For ryzen, aim for at least 3000mhz ram, buying 2666 nowadays is a waste of money because they costs almost same. One more thing to note is that gskill does not have official rma centres in India so any rma assistance has to be provided by seller & in this case buying from primeabgb is your best bet because I can confirm they are one of the official distributors of gskill ram in India.

Do not buy MWE series(gold or not),in fact do not buy coolermaster at all. Stick with corsair TXM/RMx series or antec earthwatts gold pro series(make sure it is the latest version that has 7 years warranty as older version is not that good, mdcomputers seems to be your best bet in this regard).

Thanks Whitestar.

When you say "either case will be a bad choice for ryzen 2700.", do you mean the B450 or the boards other than MSI Carbon Pro? Are you trying to say that these wont be sufficient in case of overclocking?

I was under the impression that 2666MHz memory is the highest supported without overclocking, anything beyond 26666MHz needs overclocking. Is that not the case??? Also as mentioned in the original post, I'm not interested in doing overclocking.

Any specific reason why you recommend against MWE series?

Please bear with me if the questions seems foolish.

Great Choice, Before go to vendors, make quote price in each online websites price...note it...see the difference in each websites and compare with local vendors.

Also post here...its useful for everyone.

No problem & no question is foolish :)

By "either case" I meant that buying gigabyte is a poor choice because if you are avoiding msi gaming carbon pro because of after sales support concerns then asus is better than gigabyte in this regard or if you are avoiding msi but want next best build quality option in which case asus again is better than gigabyte.

Not just overclocking,if you run 2700 under heavy loads(say 70-80% processor usage in task manager) for long duration often then too its power consumption will not be handled easily by poor/avg VRMs resulting in high mobo temps & thermal throttling of processor. Of course you can forget about overclocking a 2700 on a mobo with poor/just avg VRMs especially in India where ambient temps are high to begin with in many places. If you are buying a processor like 2700 then at least get a mobo which allows you to not only run 2700 under heavy loads without very high mobo temps but even lets you do OC too without worrying much about mobo temps. MSI B450 gaming pro carbon ac has the best VRMs under 15k price range.

Yes,2666mhz is the default for 2nd gen ryzen but there is almost 90% chance that even a 3200mhz ram will run at 3200mhz on latest 2nd gen ryzen processors & mobos with latest bios versions. In any case performance of ryzen processors depends on ram frequency too so getting at least a 3000mhz ram is considered bare minimum by US standards(of course in India as expected 2400mhz is probably the best selling model).

MWE series is not that good,a very good indicator of a psu quality is presence or lack of its reviews on major reputed sites like tomshardware/anandtech/jonnyguru etc. MWE gold may be good but why take chance when confirmed reviewed psu models are available for around same price.
