Depends on a few things

1. Where you live

If you live in a metro where 5G is going to be launched, that makes sense

2. Your budget

If you are going to buy a premium phone, it can wait until you are sure that 5G is not due soon

Depends on a lot of factors.
1) condition of your existing mobile.
2) your budget.
3) usage.
Can't advise without knowing these things.

Thanks for the reply.

1) I am currently using MOTO G3(16GB). Operating wise condition is fine. But battery discharging quite rapidly.
2)My budget is upto 20k to 25k
3)For daily usage and playing games like PUB G. Internal memory should be equal to or greater than 64 GB. RAM 6GB (=>4GB).

Even if 5G gets launched by 2020, initial prices will be high. Moreover, speed benefits would not be big if it is economical because of high volume of people using it.

I never used 4G on my airtel & my airtel 3G worked as good as Jio 4G if the signal is good & it isn't past 7 pm. I get 2-7 Mbps on airtel 3G which is fine. At night time both jio & airtel used to suffer in my experience most likely due to high traffic.

I'm 99% sure initial 5G phones would be way overpriced for the specs, especially if one gets launched under 20k, so better get a 4G phone & be happy. Not all flagships might get 5G, so I personally won't keep 5G as anything worth considering in 2019.

Get Poco F1 6GB/64GB variant, more than enough for you. It has the best gaming performance, only outmatched by iPhone XS/XR. Asus Zenphone 5Z might go for 25k soon in FK, get that for better build quality & camera (out of the box, GCam Poco F1 should be better if you are willing to tinker).
