YouTube channel list

I have a very good internet connection. Instead of subscribing to channels on cable, I am planning to weigh my options to watch channels online, preferrably YouTube.

Looks like NDTV is available live on YouTube. Shall we prepare a list of available live YouTube TV channels in India ? Let's contribute what we have.

I have a Mi TV. It is easier to watch through YouTube. Looks like there are around a million Mi TVs sold. That is why I was trying to figure out which all channels are available.

In which case, NASA streams live.

Well technically it is not live because even when traveling at speed of light it still takes considerable time for data to reach earth which NASA then broadcast to the world.

If we are talking about International Space Station live feed, I don't think data travel would cause any latency as the distance is puny (approx. 400kms). However, the broadcasting systems can surely cause some delays (and the time dilation which can be ignored in case of video broadcast though)
Well taking about LIVE, you can keep an eye on "PewDiePie Vs T-Series" live subscribers count race lol.

If I may, please stick to the topic. Let us create a list so that smart TV users can benefit from it.

What kind of smart TV do you have? If its an android, you can simply side load "JioTV" app in it, login using Jio credentials (if you use Jio prepaid or postpaid, otherwise you can use anyone of your friends. Its a free of cost service) and practically watch every TV channel for free. It also supports HD channel. I have the same setup at home and it works flawlessly.

I don't want to use cracked apps. I am ok with legal options through YouTube.

Thanks. Does it work over WiFi ?

Well, I don't see how it can be considered illegal. The app is not cracked, it just needs to be side loaded because its not available in play store. On TV, it runs exactly same as it runs on the phone. Moreover, user would login using Jio credentials (paid prepaid subscription, the way Jio intends its users to do). Nothing is being bypassed here.
Yes, it works over any WiFi (even on tethered connection via mobile data from providers other than Jio).

@shreeux Most apps that gives live TV channels are illegal. I don't want to use them.

JioTV however I am paying for it and if I could use it with a genuine ID ( which I am ) looks like a good solution.

Also, most channels have a YouTube live stream. I was trying to conslidate them here so that others can use it too.
