I'm hearing for the first time too. Seems like an Indian based company lol. Few Positives about the laptop which I liked are the i7 processor which is faster than the usual i5 we get in that price range and the additional 128Gb SSD which can be swapped out for more storage space in the future. Apart from these a 14 inch FHD screen is not bad.

Dell best after sales, no other company comes close (maybe Apple).
Buy this & get rid of DVD drive for SSD, many tutorials available online:

Clone OS to it for a great experience. Photoshop loads up in 10s from SSD compared to a min from HDD. This laptop isn't good for performance, but your usage doesn't seem heavy. Its performance is sufficient for light photo editing & normal tasks.

Gaming laptops with i5 8300H+GTX 1050/1050Ti are much better performers.

Thanks for the suggestion. In fact I have decided to postpone the purchase a bit as fund was needed elsewhere :-(. Probably a desktop , in six months or so. Thanks again for all the inputs that I got from all of you.
Cheers.

The thing is,it will certainly void the warranty. The best one can hope for is at least replace hdd with ssd without voiding warranty.
You can always replace DVD drive back while claiming warranty if there are no stickers so for identification, my last laptop didn't have it, so it was possible (it had mSATA port, so didn't have to though). Most laptops don't need servicing during their warranty period, so worth the risk IMO.

Not necessarily.e.g.many laptops need to have their entire back panel opened for accessing dvd drive & who knows what identification sticker company put in there. As for servicing again it depends.e.g.some warranties also have ADP(accidental damage protection) which can be required anytime. Also using too much of a gaming laptop/laptop with decent gfx may require a trip to service centre for issues like overheating because of inadequate thermal paste etc.In short,it is not worth it to risk replacing dvd drive especially if the warranty is for more than 1 year.Better to simply use internal hdd as portable hdd for that duration after getting hdd replaced by ssd preferably at service centre.

That is a better option for sure. Anyways, I'm sure common folks won't even replace HDD with SSD & later dream of Macbooks as they are fast.
