Hi Guys,

I've already asked for PC Build long time back, but i was not able to build it at that time as i resorted to mac for convenience. Now, i would like to to build a PC mainly for gaming and below are my requirements :

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: The PC should be capable of playing most of the AAA titles at High Settings in 1080p and atleast medium settings in 4k in future with minor upgrades. I would also be doing some coding on this but it's not the main purpose.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 80 Thousand, can extend it by 10-15k if it's worth it.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 10

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1TB HDD should be fine, would like to fit in 250GB SSD if possible.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, 1080p with good refresh rate should be fine for now. Also, if the screen can be rotated vertically that would be great so i can use it with my mac/PC while coding.
Also, I already have a LG 4K HDR tv in home. so is there any way i can hook the PC to that. If yes, how convenient or feasible that will be ?

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Building it from scratch.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: In the first week of July.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: No, but i would like to build it on my own maybe youtube can help.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Hyderabad. I'd prefer online, but any local stores in Hyderabad that you know of let me know i'll try them but i'm not good at bargaining.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I want the PC to be relevant for at least 3 to 4 years from now and easy to upgrade in the future.

Thank you in advance for your time and expertise.

With current GPU prices forget 4K gaming for now for 4k gaming you need a GTX1080 GPU which alone will cost you 50k+

If required, I think a lot can be saved here by not going for a fancy motherboard. Also, such system would not require a 650w supply. A decent 500w should be enough for this specs (more savings).

Is it a bad time for building PC now ? Any light on prices reducing in the future ?

If his budget allows it then why not, these motherboard comes with better components. I know a 500 watts PSU is enough but if he later decides to go with more powerful GPU he have to buy a new PSU, for future proofing I suggested him 650 watts

Current GPU pricing are bad also price of RAM are too high but no one knows when Nvidia will launch their next gen. GPUs or when RAM prices will come down.
