Hello everyone,
Its been a long time i have been here to the forums. I have a problem with my phone WiFi speeds over my TP-Link Router which is connected to the ACT fiber net plan in Coimbatore which has a base speed of 25 MBPS to my home. The issue is that the WiFi speeds are not fully utilized in the phone which usually hovers about 30-40 Kbits/sec which is unusually slow. I have a Desktop PC connected through the Ethernet cable which seems fine. The Issue pops up mostly during browsing in mobile where the speeds don't improve, and even my Airtel 4g seems faster than my home wifi. I kindly request the People of digit forums to pour in your suggestions to fix this issue.
Mobile Name: Xiaomi Mi 5, Android Build Version 7.0 NRD90M, MIUI Version Global 8.2 Stable
Router TP-Link TL-WR841N on ACT broadband.

Things i have tried with the help of googling around:
Changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8 in phone
IP settings DHCP in phone for my home wifi

How many physical barriers like walls, doors etc are between the router and mobile? Which frequency band are you using on the router and phone? What is the distance between them?

I think he is saying the bandwidth of the current 2.4 ghz channel the modem is currently transmitting on , has a 20Mhz/40Mhz bandwidth .
