I have shortlisted it to oneplus3T but I am confused whether to buy 64 or 128 gb one.Is 5k worth 64 gb?
I mean to say the app install space.I want it to be future proof for 5yrs atleast. I am still using the note n7000 model.any other phone within this price range with equal spec can be recommended.

Oneplus3 is superb in all specifications.

If you want to go with Mods then you can go with Moto Z Play @ 25k Link:
Moto Z is the flagship @ 40k
Both the phones comes with Mods which needs to be bought extra.

Mods can be attached at the backside for both.

JBL Speaker mod, Powerbank mod, standalone DSLR camera mod and so forth.

If the Mods are bought along with the phone they are costing less.

All are available at amazon.in

Link for Moto Z Play: Moto Z Play with Style Mod (Black, 32GB): Amazon.in: Electronic

Nothing is future proof these days, forget about any phone lasting for 5 years from now. :|

There are no restrictions on app install space. Get 128GB version if your budget allows it.

Compare OnePlus 3T vs Motorola Moto Z Play Size, Specs, Camer

The one enticing feature in Moto Z Play is Mods support.

Though Oneplus 3t is upgraded with snapdragon 821, 6GB Ram, 128GB ROM, 16MP front camera the Hasselblad Camera Mod for Moto Z Play is really enticing.

Moto Z Play comes with stock android 6.0 upgradable to Nougat 7.0

Oneplus 3 or 3t comes with custom OxygenOS.

OP needs to think what is necessary for him and decide.

Nothing is future proof in todays world, even for 2 years leave alone 5 long years.

Going with flagships does not necessarily become future proof. It can be used for 2 years at the most after which they become redundant.

For ex: Samsung S7 Note or Edge phones are like live grenades which are sold for 60k each.

Now Samsung is recalling all those phones.
After which S8 will be released with much durability by rectifying the errors of S7.

They are flagships right.

i do have a requirement that the radio to be present, but I cant find a 6gb 820/821 phone within budget with radio.I think you have misunderstood the 5 yr part.I dont need bragging rights,I need it to work with latest app and no space problems 5 years long.I have used the note for 4 yrs so....

My suggestion for the OP is to go with Flagship medium phones such as Moto Z Play and use it for 2 years but buy another flagship medium phone after 2 years.

Leave the thought for 5 years buddy.

If OPs budget permits, he can go with Oneplus 3t.

S7 or its variants. Can go for about 4 years but again stuff like VR and Hololens is developing, it really depends on the user for how long they want to use it. My N73ME bought in 2007 is broken now :( I am too looking for a new phone. BTW I am not sure about the radio in S7 and S7 Edge as the following site does not show it.

Samsung Galaxy S7 vs. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge vs. Samsung Galaxy S7 active - GSMArena.com

Actually Nokia made the best phones on Symbian OS.
Now android is every where .

My Nokia N82 was the best phone I liked.
Unfortunately it got destroyed due to some guys over individuality.

Ok go for Oneplus 3T only if your requirement is not more than 128GB regarding apps only or else
Moto Z Play or Moto Z where stand alone MSD can be used for additional storage.

Well if you want a phone to run for 4 years then you gotta increase your budget a little. I didn't get your 4 gb comment. 4gb ram?

Used google cardboard vr for a while, just some apps and games and got bored after then. Watching 360° videos (youtube or ahem  ) is the only positive I can think about smartphone based VR because there aren't much VR games available. Also, if you want actual immersive VR gaming, get an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. There's no way that in 2-3 years, any phone will be able to run Crysis 3 at 1440p VR (because 1440p is the recommended resolution for good VR experience).

For the the latter question, there are no good samsung phones for the budget. While buying a Samsung phone, either get one of their recent flagships or don't get anything at all.

Thanks for replying dear. Is HTC Vive better than Samsung VR? Will it be compatible with S7? How many "p" is the Samsung VR? GTA VI will be the real game to play with VR's. It will take another 6-7 years I guess.

In that budget I think J5 and J7 are good phones. Don't you think?

yes 4 gb ram.
Is 128gb necessary for future proof?
5k for 64 gb seems kinda pointless...any opinions.(One plus 3t )

I am no expert but I think 2-4 gigs of a ram in a phone is more than enough. I am running PSP and other high end games on my rooted SGS3 without any lag. There's always a slot for an external card. Moreover the other specs matter more than the hdd space.

I need a bit future proofing so
1)6gb ram a must.
2)64/128 gb storage space
3)snapdragon 820/821
4)radio is optional if available then great.

Man this way you won't be able to buy a phone. Nothing is "future proof". Increase your budget and wait for S8 if you don't find S7 good enough.
