Peak Oil is real!
Hello friends,

I have just purchased Asus X555YA from Amazon @ Rs 20k for general use.

How is Asus after sales service these days?

AMD A6-7310 processor @ 2 GHz (4 cores)
4 GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM
500 GB 5400 HDD
15.6" screen

The laptop might reach me tomorrow. But now I just thought about after sales service.

Is Asus ASS good? or Bad? Should I keep my order or cancel it?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

it's good..
just stay away from there routers

Many people don't trust Asus service. So, I had to cancel this beautiful laptop. Instead, I bought a Dell Inspiron 3541 which has similar specs, but is an ugly box, all because warranty support. It will be delivered today via snapdeal.

I own a DELL 14 Inspiron 5447 laptop.DELL service is extremely impeccable. No worries just forget.

But for a price point you were purchasing a very good laptop from ASUS. At least ASUS Hardware currently rules the roost, particularly the laptop/notebook aspect.
Of course your judgement and choice is always yours and that's honoured. Ultimate thing is your peace in mind and the gratification, which everybody has their own accordingly.

Had a problem with the headphone jack on my laptop, went to Rashi service center, expecting the worst.

Result: Motherboard replaced, all problems fixed in 4 working days.

I am quite surprised, to say the least. But this is good.

If you are wondering, turnaround time is similar or slightly more for HP, Dell, etc.
