If warranty is not an issue you can look at this one it's more powerful both in processing and gpu
ASUS A550JX-XX142D, Core i7-4720HQ, 4GB/1TB, 15.6" HD, 4GB NViDiA 950M Graphics | eBay Mobil

If you can extend budget extra you can look at this one also good and powerful comes with international warranty which applicable in india
HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ak007tx, Core i7-6700HQ, 4GB, 1TB, 15.6" FULLHD, 4GB Graph | eBay Mobil

You can use coupons in ebay which further reduces the price

IMHO For the games you are going to play needs minimum gtx960M to play in high/ultra.so try to get one with that

The first option you gave has a 4th gen processor.. I would rather not go with that.. as I plan to use my laptop for at least next 4 years

I am on a tight budget so I won't be able to go for the second option..

Thanks a lot for the help :)

But the gtx940M can pull this games in medium settings right?
Like in 720p.. I am not a gamer by soul.. for me medium settings are more than enough..
I had one more doubt my configration can run these games smoothly in medium settings right?

First option Asus one is i7-4750hq which is an quad core and ur suggest hp one has i5 6200-u which is a dual core processor. low power it's no match i7-4750hq which way more powerful and u should need atleast 950m for playing all games at medium settings

My old laptop had GT650M which is equivalent to GT940M in performance. It surely did run GTA V in medium in 768p but newer games like AC syndicate & CoD Black Ops 3 ran at 720p low settings. So i doubt 940M can run all the upcoming games of 2016. Even if it does, it won't be useful in 2017

So if you play games once in a while & that too if you can live without playing the latest games, then GT940M will suffice
(Note: Cracking scene for games is not looking good in 2016, so maybe 940M will be enough for you)

The gt940m isn't that bad even i play world of warcraft @ 1080p good settings i get around 30-50 fps
it does stutter sometimes in battlegrounds but it is playable.so if you are not gonna max out settings at 1080p then you can choose gt 940m

Exactly what I was saying.. thanks guys.. for clearing the doubt..

I have couple of more doubts..
My choice has 8GB of ram.. does this help reduce the load on my CPU when running resource hungry application like Adobe after effects..?

And also not having a full HD screen is it really such a big deal.. cause I have a HTC desire 826 which has a full HD screen and I'll be watching most of my movies and tv shows on it..
Is it like a must to have full HD screen on a laptop?

8GB RAM is sufficient for most purposes nowadays. I'll say it would be better to buy 4GB RAM model & buy another 8GB RAM stick for 2.5k (So for same price, or a bit lower, you will have 12GB RAM)

Full HD screen is always appreciated in a laptop. Texts in websites become crisper, 1080p videos look better.... It's better to have 1080p screen
