Around 50K INR

2) what size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
· Thin and Light; 12" - 14" screen (Looking for a light laptop)

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Work on AutoCAD 2015(can run on any processor after Pentium 4 but recommended RAM is 8GB), Net Surfing, Movies

5) any typical configuration in your mind you're eyeing for?
More RAMs like 8GB would be great.

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: Lenovo, Dell
b. Dislike: Indian brands like HCL, Wipro (Have very bad experience with them)


6) Anything else you would like to say?
· Screen resolution ( 768p (HD) / 900p / 1080p (Full HD) )
· Battery backup ( extended (5-7hrs) )

If will use your laptop for gaming too, get any one among 1st & 2nd options
If totally no gaming, get the i7 one

Get the asus A550jx from ebay. Cad will require a good gpu which light weight laptops lack in this budget.

In my laptop, CPU usage go upto 100% with CAD software CATIA but GPU usage never crossed 35%

Also geforce GPUs aren't made for graphical processing. For that NVIDIA has quadro series

No laptop in India has a quadro GPU. He might as well assemble a desktop and may not get a good quadro card in the budget.
