Hello guys.
My friend has decided to buy a laptop.. and wants my advice on it..
He wants a touchscreen model..
I have never used a touch screen laptop.. so i have some doubts that i thought u can clearify..
1. Is using a touhscreen in laptop comfortable ? U have to reach forward for ur screen.. and u cant suppprt ur hand on the keyboard..
2. If u do have a touch screen laptop how often do u actually use the touch facility ?
Btw the laptops i refer to are just simple laptops and does not include convertibles and those that rotate their screen 360...

Edit: if his budget is around rs 60k or more, then suggest him to drop the idea of touch screen laptop and buy a lenovo y510p.

His budget is 30 to 40k and he is planning to buy from the us..
I can choose the config and model later.. the question now is will it be worth it spending on a touchscreen laptop ?

IMHO, its better to get a bit powerful config (normal M processors) without the touchscreen instead of a low powered config (those laptops with a ULV processor) with a touchscreen.
