If you can live without the touch, go for the Macbook Air. No windows laptop can match the battery performance of MBA.

^^look at lenovo's ThinkPad series. They are performance business laptops. Kb waterproof. One of them runs for 19 hours straight. The secret is 2 batteries, one external and another internal. If you run out on one, you can replace it while laptop runs on internal. This is perhaps the only laptop capable of destroying macbook's battery life advantage.

^^Nah I am just promoting Windows because of my deep rooted hatred for apple products. :)

Hate is a pretty strong word. Pick the one that gets the job done. Either mac or windows.

why not get macbook air fr 54k . before u jump into lenovo experimental models like flex, be sure to do proper research whether battery lasts that long or not. mba's have proven track record of great battery life.

What about MacBook? It has good battery life I heard
Thanks for ur reply buddies, b4 macbook was there in my consideration seriously but i dont ve any idea about the mac OS and i doubt about my adaptability.also its 11 inch which is kinda too small for watching movies and entertainment purposes and macbook 13 inch model seems to be a good deal but budget wise out of sight costing around 66k.. so im in serious confusion whether to go for ideaflex 14(50k) which seems like a full package or to get some cheaper one (around 30k) so that i can get macbook 13 inch model after say 1 year.. please help me out of this??

i know it wont last for 9 hrs but still say 5 - 6 hrs for normal usage which seems to be a notch up comparatively, isnt a good deal for that 50k budget??or suggest me some other model??
the big problem is there is no scope for proper research about flex 14 since it is a new model in the market and i cudnt even find a single thread of flex 14 for users review..

Its your take. As for me, i would not invest 50k in an unknown model. I would have surely gone for MBA(its 11.6 inch btw) and if you want to watch movies , u can always hook it up to a TV / larger monitor for larger screen space.
