Pls suggest branded PC within 30k

Dear All,

A neighbor of mine intends to purchase a 'branded' desktop PC for his son who is currently in Std. 2. It will be purely for educational purpose and should run until Std. 12 :)

Please suggest me some good shops in Kolkata and the recommended brands like HCL, HP etc. It will be nice if they come with bundled offer like Printer etc. His budget is 30K.

nah..he is kind of inclined towards a "branded" one and i gave up convincing him for an assembled one..so please suggest me branded PCs only.

If you know the advantages of assembled PC and disadvantages of branded PC, you WILL have to convince him.

Advantages of assembled PC:

> Longer warranty period.
> Better configuration.
> Includes components of choice.
> Can change/upgrade any part, anytime.
> Better resale value.
> Better configuration.
> Better configuration.
> Better configuration.

Disadvantages of branded PC:

> Poor configuration.
> Shorter warranty period.
> Comparatively poor after sale service.
> Cannot upgrade any part which the brand does not have.
> Poor configuration.
> Cannot tinker with anything.
> Cannot open cabinet for cleaning.
> Cannot include more fans for improving cooling.
> Poor configuration.
