Query about laptops from US

Hi guys..
Was recently looking for a laptop when i bumped into this site with a lot of reviews and support for dv6 6121tx.. Now this laptop was for my cousin who needs it for CAD/Graphics stuff. His requirement was FHD screens and decent GPU+i7. Of all the 3, 6121TX satisfy GPU+i7 but not the FHD screen.
Therefore decided to source the laptop from US.
But i fear is that will it be possible to get replacement for battery or other parts in India?
Esp the battery, is it possible to put a 9cell battery bought in India in one of those HP laptops procured in US?

The laptop I was looking at was DV6-6190us. It has similar specs of 6121TX but with FHD screen.
Appreciate the any help..

Before you are buying from US, check for the power plug(because, in U.S we use 120v socket output) - In most cases, it should be be ok. And yes, its a universal brand right? the battery are the same, you can get it here. Verify it in a local dealer store.

All the best

Keep in mind that HP doesn't provide international warranty (AFAIK). So you'll have deal with HP-US for any issue. Use e-coupons, they make a big difference.

You might want to look at Dell XPS15 @ 67k.
Pros
Better service
Better Sound
Gorgeous FHD screen

Cons
Overpriced
Slower GPU

Couple of months back my brother had bought an asus and it was adapter was 100-240v. So hoping a universal version also should be available.

Yeah i know about warranty but i am not worried since this laptop is 4 my cousin, who will be travelling often to US and Europe.
As for me , i will wait till they or any other company ,release FHD and good config for a reasonable price.

But i will never recommend Dell, simply coz they don't last more than 3 yrs.
Dont ask me why but i have personally seen "4" laptops die after 3yrs. While HP,compaq, Lenovo/IBM lasted much longer than that.(Its a different matter that the laptops get outdated).
