Hey guyz , has anybody tried the new windows xp x64 edition which is open for customer preview for a period of 1 year ? ..... for more check this out

Supported processors: AMD Athlon 64, AMD Opteron, Intel Xeon with Intel EM64T support, Intel Pentium 4 with Intel EM64T support

256MB RAM

1.5GB available hard-disk space

Super VGA (800x600) or higher resolution video card

CD-ROM or DVD drive

Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

Important: Windows XP Professional x64 Edition cannot be successfully installed on 64-bit Intel Itanium–based systems.

Guyz please put this on demand for the next months dvd . this is a whopping 450 mb iso image and guyz like me who are stuck wid dial up cant imagine to download it.

i am asking fr this fr the last 2 months fr users who got 64 bit proccy.

Think Digit cant give it out as MS will not allow it. Its not available for distribution as the service packs are. Plus each installation pack has unique product key & needs activation. Above that if digit were o get XP64 all tech mags across world would get it.

Maybe MS can do so for Longhorn. This would be great fr teting as well as forcing users to upgrade
