Wifi only works when ethernet is plugged in

Hello guys.

Today I encountered a strange problem.

Yesterday, there was a lightning Strom and it struck our apartment.

Later, when I tried using the wifi, everything connects fine but it doesn't load a bit.

Then I tried connecting the router to laptop. Suddenly, wifi started working. If I disconnect the router (by removing the ethernet cable plugged into laptop), wifi stopped working.

Any solutions to this problem?
