WiFi file transfer methods

Hi Folks,

Which WiFi method you all use to transfer files from Phone to PC (vice-versa).

I used Airdroid and it was excellent.
Advantages: No Installation required in PC, just connect hotspot and you are ready.

But now the latest version has changes in this mechanism and its not working for me.
Its says connect to *:8888 but its not working.

If it is working for u, then let me know.
or some other alternative u have.

There is Xender and ShareIT. Xender works through PC browser. ShareIT needs a client on PC.

WiFi File Transfer (THE BEST. The developer is too good. He has stopped updating this app since the past few years btw)
WiFi File Explorer

I use ES Explorer.

It has a option to connect to LAN.
Searches all systems available in the WiFI LAN.
Connects to it via Windows username/password

Then you can browse the shared folders like normally you do in PC.
Nothing needs to be installed in PC for this.

Works like a charm for me.
