Hy,
from my friend canon Handicam i shoot one video for 1 hour. (In panasonic DV tape ) When i connect to tv or laptop it was very great quality . You can say 100% good clear picture, but when i copy into my laptop through ulead s/w as a dvd, the quality reduced , tremendusly . So i went mkt and give a tape to one good camera shop person and ask him to convert the tape into dvd. But result was same. He told me we cannot achive a same quality which is in Tape . Quality reduced due to rendering. Is is true. Or any software whether paid or trial gives a same quality which are in handicam tape

All DVDs uses the same format, MPEG-2. But if your original footage is good, you can get up to the Hollywood DVD quality. Can you post a sample video?
