what wrong with recyle bin

hi,
i have attached link to screen shot of my recycle bin along with my desktop.
In my desktop the icon of recycle bin shows that the recycle bin is not empty but when i open the recycle bin there are no items in it. what could be the cause of the problem..

Restart

-Make a "New Folder"
-Delete the "New Folder'
-Right Click on "Recycle Bin" and click " Empty Recycle Bin"
