What capacity RAM?

How may I verify the capacity of installed RAM in a computer without any third party software. When I verify it from My Computer-> System Properties the RAM shows to be 96 MB even though 128 MB RAM is installed.

32 MB is shared one as virtual memory

Just go to this place:-

Start>All Programs>Accesories>SystemTools>System Information.

This is not a 3rd party toll. Its integrated in windows.

Also check out the BIOS by pressing F8 or delete while bootup.

U'r ram is sharing part of it memory with the viedo card.Its known as shared memory and can be adjusted from 8mb till 64mb.to check how much is alloted just goto start>run and type dxdiag,u wil get info on your ram memory and memory alloted to the video card.
