URGENT !! Need a monitor/tv for CCTV setup with hdmi/vga port. (Rs.4000-5000)

Hi guys,

I had installed new CCTV with 4 cameras at home last year and attached 8 year old samsung 17" syncmaster FLAT monitor to it. Now this monitor is not working, it gives 1 second runtime and goes to black with power LED ON. If I switch it on/off , it again works for 1second only.


So suggest me a cheapest monitor of any size with these must have features:

1. Mountable
2. Durable for next 3-4 years. (18hour ON a day)
3. Low power consumption

Should I buy a TV or Monitor for 18hour live monitoring ?

I have similar requirements.
I'm setting up a new CCTV camera system with 7 CCTV HD cameras - 3 PTZ & 4 Dome Cameras with a 8-channel DVR and 1-TB HDD.

I need a 18.5-19" monitor/TV that has wall-mount capabilities.
Should be durable for atleast 2 years.
Runtime - 24/7.

Please help.

Visit on any e-commerce site and search for monitor with mount option. You can even find some good branded monitor.

Cost of T.V is expensive and also monitor work for long time than T.V. For long time use I recommended monitor.
