Atleast some of them should now give it a try and not be scared of not knowing how to do it. If someone can make this a sticky, or write a similar one and make it a sticky, I guess it would be helpful to everyone.:p

^How to dual boot 2 Linux Distros, if it sounds noobish ,forgive me.
Will Grub automatically detect other Linux Distro or i have to manually edit menu.list?

Most of the time Grub or Lilo will detect the other operating systems,
In the rare case that it does not, its quite easy to edit the menu.lst(in case of Grub) or lilo.conf(in case of Lilo).

For 2 *nix OS's install first's boot code on MBR and then on, on /partition.
Then modigy the boot code to see other OS's. This will depend on the OS and the boot code you will be using.

Nice tutorials. My bro is using ubuntu and the grub loader was too slow for me. Was using two HDDs now, I can start with Vista loader and ask my brother to use the Vista boot loader instead

Linux distros do a very bad job of recognizing each other.! After I installed Sabayon, I just couldn't find Ubuntu entry at boot-time despite me adding it to GRUB list during installation.Had to re-setup the GRUB again and add entries manually.
