Hello,
I have installed win7 ultimate 64 bit on my new system
i want turbo C to run in full screen badly

XP MODE:
I downloaded it , C runs here bt in a small screen

RUNNING IN WIN 7 USING DOSBOX
I get full screen here but i m used to shortcuts
pressing ctrl f9 exits d dosbox instead of running d programme

UPDATE: Solution to this
Open dosbox keymapper and disable shutdown by that shortcut .... hushhhhh!! :p

So i need a solution to run turbo c smoothly in full screen with graphics mode

help appreciated ;)

Is dosbox needed? I ran it in my friends win7 32 bit pc, alt+enter does the trick.

Also why the archaic turboc? Why not something better like Code Blocks?

Well its offtopic and don't have to do with the problem but Why not move on from Turbo C++ to a simpler and better compiler which works fine in win 7??

^^ well in college we do this coding stuff on Turbo C so we i cant go for other options.

I knew Alt + Enter but firstly Turbo C does not even get installed on 64bit without dosbox.. so u need d dosbox.. and then we have to disable keymapper for shutdown

my problem is solved for the moment as i got 1 solution. but i m interested in knowing how to make it full screen functional using win xp mode

installed it but on pressing alt + enter it says the video device driver has failed to initialise full screen mode.
i have already right clicked icon > properties > disable read only
checked windows in screen tab
and tried compatibility option

I think @OP got his answer and now this is simply going to offtopic.

If you guys want to go further, discuss it here : *www.thinkdigit.com/forum/programming/136185-turbo-c-c-other-junk-compilers-discussions-here.html
