THE RUSTY SCREW PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive got a rather peculiar( may not be ) problem.
some of the screws that fasten the drives to the cabinet have rusted and all of the screws have lost the shape of the head. hence am unable to unfasten 'em using a screw driver.

so guys got any bright ideas to unscrew the screws.

put some rust remover solution to loosen up the threads and use a small hacksaw to make a new head cutting then use a screw driver to unscrew

As a rust remover you can use light machine oil such as sewing machine oil. Don't apply too much.

Pradeep's suggestion to cut a new slot is a good one. As an alternative, a pair of pincers (used for removing nails) can be used. Grip the screw head very tightly with the edges of the pincers and try to turn it.

Oh BTW, I mean iron nails, not your nails......
