^^ For your usage, the i5 2500k is not overkill but superkill. You don't need that much processing power for your usage. At your budget, if you go for a 2500k, then you'll sacrifice other important components. And please mention the resolution of your monitor.
What sort of an answer is no need??

210 elite is not for 3k u get it for 2.5k with USB 3.0 support for 2.5k here and without USB 3.0 it for 1.948k here
get a 30 or 32GB SSD there and instead of a 6770 get a 6850 or something so that even if he develops interest in gaming he can play it at 1o8oP

@shilajit what type of games are you planning on running ? (heavy graphics FPS or just some FIFA for example)

@tarun,good cabinets usually weigh 6kg & more.do you really believe that any online shop can courier you a 6kg item with just rs.100-150 shipping charge?primeabgb is the sole authorized online retailer of NZXT here & it charges ~600 for outside mumbai delivery.itwares has some NZXT models but it too charges ~300.the site you mentioned actually use amazon global shipping system & it will definitely cost much more than what indian delivery services charge for such items.

as for getting more powerful card i am not even sure about if even 6770 is too powerful for op's requirements.as for SSD it is not VFM at present considering op's requirement of a 250gb hard disk which is bare minimum space needed to install multiple OS & save HD movies/videos.
