Suggestion required for CPU + MOBO +RAM

I am upgrading my system :

Want to Buy :
1. CPU
2. MOBO (in future i can add a Mid-Level GPU)
3. RAM

BUDGET : 10K
USAGE : Multimedia , movies HD, Downloading and internet only.

Have kept Rs. 1000 extra for Cabinet w/o PSU.
Please suggest, Will be buying from Chennai.

Available item for Re-USE :
1. PSU iball - 450W
2. DVD RW - SATA
3. HDD SATA 320GB
4. MOUSE + KEYBOARD
5. SPEAKERS
4. Monitor 17"

Just recently purchased Intel M/B & CPU in chennai... will fit ur budget

Intel Core i3-2100 (Retail box w/fan & heatsink)
Intel DH61WW M/B (Bulk packing, no box. Comes with back plate, 2 SATA cables, Driver CD and M/B header layout stickers)

Cost: 6000/- for the CPU and 3200/- for the board.

P.S. It may not be the best deal around, it's a very basic board. Feel free to look around well before deciding on anything.

For a Cabinet without PSU get Zebronics Bijli @ 1.1k ;-)

With 10k get these :

Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P ( rev 3.1 ) @ 2.8k
Phenom II X4 955BE @ 5.8k
G-skill F3-10600CL9S-4GBNT @ 1.4k

With this mobo you can add a mid range gpu in the future and the quad core 955BE is good enough to run with mid range gpus ;-)

getting a better quality PSU is always recommended but OP's existing PSU can handle the new mobo+cpu combo - Op should upgrade the PSu when he is ready to buy a gfx card IMO ;-)

AMD A8-3800 5800/- (Quad Core + Radeon 6530D)
M5A99MLE 4400/- (Mobo with CFX support)
G. Skill 2 x 2GB 2000/- (Dual Channel)

~3k up on ur budget but totally worth it!!! Youll get decent FPS in most DX11 Games!!!

EDIT: F1A55 MLE Motherboard. (@Joker - Oops, thnx for pointing out!)

^ i think u messed up a bit. Llano + am3+ motherboard. :p may be you meant an entry level asus a75 FM1 socket mobo. :)

AMD 3800 series is priced over 7K and a good compatible motherboard is almost 4K. So the CPU and combo itself go over 10K. Lionking, let me know from where did you get the A3800 price.
I am with Topgear's suggestion here. It offers perfect balance among all the components.

Cilus - It(A8 3800) was listed @ SMC at 5700/- few days back. Now its not, maybe out of stock.

Anyways, Core i3 is not a good buy vs Llano.
It does not make for a balanced machine, good cpu but bad bad gpu!!!

The price has been increased a lot and it is over 7K now.
And although I have suggested Phenom II 955, Core i3 2100 is a viable option as OP is going for a discreate GPU in future.
