Hi,I saw a high end config like this:
Q6600
ASUS P5KPL-CM LGA 775 Intel G31 MOBO
4GB DDR2 RAM/800
400GB SATA
SONY DVD RW
CM-600W
CM-690 cabi
Numeric 1000KVA ....

But NO Gfx card!...

PLz suggest me a Good graphics card for a budget around 7K.

(Is there any way to add 'Firewire' connector as there is NO provision in this motherboard,but the cabinet has a slot!!???)

Get a 9600 GSO. Galaxy is good because you can Soft Mod it to a 8800GTS.

But,unfortunately,Asus P5KPL CM doesn't support "PCI Express 2.0x16"

Will 8600GT suit this mobo?

8600GT will do fine but from what people have told me here all PCIE2 cards are backwards compatible - I'm not sure but quite a few people here told me that.

Go for 9600 GSO....
It is way better than 8600 GT ....

9600GSO is best fit in your budget..

but if you can raise your budget to 9.5k ... 9600GT will be real VFM Performer card to go for
