Hello geeks,

I have one old PC which I took during 2008 and now I want to upgrade it so that I can get good graphics for mid quality games such as Counter strike, NFS Most Wanted and also, applications such as photoshop, corel draw etc.

Configurations are :

Specification Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2160 @ 1.80GHz
Package (platform ID) Socket 775 LGA (0x0)

Memory Type DDR2
Memory Size 2560 MBytes
Channels Dual
Memory Frequency 332.5 MHz (3:5)

Mainboard Model 945GCT-M/1333

Display adapter Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family

Windows Version Microsoft Windows 7 (6.1) Ultimate Edition 64-bit (Build 7600)
DirectX Version 11.0

I tried the above information with CPUZ.
Kindly suggest me what are the updates which I can make with my PC. Is it possible to do update the pc with current mobo. OR do I have to get another one.

You have to get a new system, your current pc is too old. Start a new thread in pc config section for suggestions after reading the sticky post about Questionnaire.

Add another 4GB of RAM but I suggest you to get a Ryzen APU based system

Not found any customs built options.
What custom built? Buying pc parts separately is in itself a custom built. Also the only way to avoid buying wrong product is by asking for/reading pc build suggestions on forums like here & reddit. Most Indian shopkeepers will always try to sell the products with high profit margin irrespective of quality.

To avoid or will let you know what parts are compatible with what component.

Usually there is no compatibility issue nowadays, only possible issue might be if you select wrong mobo(like 8th gen intel mobo for 9th gen intel processor but the naming scheme itself should clear this),ram is ddr4 only nowadays.

Why any one suggest M.2 NVME supporting Mother Board?
It's future proof or not?
All intel/amd mobo(except for few basic models) now comes with nvme slot. It is the next stage of storage connectors just like sata was when IDE(those long slots for hdd/cd drive) were the norm.
