3. Form Factor? bar, slider, flip?
A.Any but not slider.
4. Preferred choice of brand?
A.No Nokia.ONLY Samsung,LENOVO,No Indian brands
5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type).
A.Any non qwerty phone,if touchscreen then it should be capacitive.
6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera.
A. At least 2MP None,but could capture good quality images
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A.Only android.but not less than gingerbread.
8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly.
A. 3G,Wifi,Bluetooth,micro usb
9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc)?
A. GPS(optional)
10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc)?
A. Will be using to connect to internet on Laptop,multimedia,sms,often using camera.

The phone should have resolution>240x320. Battery should be at least 1500mah,and RAM should be at least 256mb and no ARM 11 processor.

can you tell me more about its user interface and os.Can it store 1500+messages?Can .nth themes be applied in it?

Connecting to internet in laptop using mobile will be faster through bluetooth or through wifi?

it is much like the Corby so not based on Symbian. Some generic home grown Samsung OS. No, Nokia themes can't be applied.

Primo doesn't have WiFi. Only bluetooth or USB.

Are the "desi brands" supply reliable phones which could be used for 2 years with minimum or no problems,Did the quality of their phones remains same for a normal usage or they get degraded over the period of time.(I am a regular Nokia user,thus do not know much about quality of such brands.)

I have bought the similar one (ASHA 305 DUAL SIM) for my mother but doesn't like its UI,very less or no new good themes,no way to select text and it is overpriced too!

Check the Huawei U5510. It has 3G,dual sim, wi-fi,512 MB RAM,650 MHz CPU and has good review.All under 3k.

Karbonn should work well.AFAIK,all new Karbonn phones come with an Arm v7 processor,which is definitely better than the Galaxy Pocket's Arm v6 processor.
