State Bank rewardz activation

Hi,

Someone in the family opened a new sbi savings account. They have registered for the sbirewardz program. At the time of registration it said that the account will be activated in 14 days and even gave a reference id but more than a month has passed but still no sign about the activation. Sent few mails to the customer support id's mentioned on that site but every mail is bouncing back. Contacted the bank, they don't have any clue what that program exactly is. Anyone knows how to get this thing activated?

No first you have to register on their website. Then they issue you a reference id and they are supposed to authenticate the same with the concerned branch. After this process we can create a username and password and login via the site or the app.

Well, I did it years back, things may have changed there after. All we needed was our account number and debit card to activate rewardz back then.
