Hi I am currently using a pentium 4 2.4ghz processor with a 845 motherboard.This system is pretty ol but gives me decent performance (not for gaming though) I am getting an offer for a second hand AMD athlon 64 2800 with a socket 754 motherboard with pci-e, sata etc for only RS 2500.I was wondering if this would be worth it over my previous Intel config... and also are new chipset motherboards still available for socket 754 so I can upgrade in the future? Will this motherboard fit in my current cabinet ?
