PROBS WID PARTITIONING

i have partitioned my 160 GB HDD as 10:10:40:40:10:20:1.have loaded Win 2k in the first 10 GB .Went to partition the unallocated space using the Windows start up disk .But by mistake ,Win 2k proceeded to install itself in 1 of the newly created partitions .now its showing a dual boot option .
How can i remove the Win entry not installed properly ?

its only in modifying the boot.ini file back. this link wil help u to do it.

There is a file in the C: drive called 'boot.ini' open it in
the notepad. Go to run type 'C:\boot.ini' (Enter)
Be cautious , any mess-up with this file , your PC won't
boot!!. So copy one to a different directory in case something goes wrong. Delete the unwanted entry and
save the file.

my advice:dont have too many partitions, you'll wonder "did i put that file in g: no i think its i: or was it d:" see, just reduce the no of drives like 4

Better go for Linux. Only one partition!!!
