Problem with ubuntu ......data uploading

Hi, all
I am new to linux.Whenever i try to upload a file that is 35 mb approx.(i have slow net )
my browser get freezes .....not responding .What can i do ......to troubleshoot this problem.There is no problem in my winxp with same connection.......plz help me.

Which site are you uploading & browser? Maybe the flash is causing it.
FF freezes when uploading to mediafire for me, though the file uploads .

Mine browser==FF too ........!!
How u troubleshoot ur problem??

I just leave it till it uploads all the files as I watch the network traffic to make sure data is uploading and continue my surfing with Opera as mediafire doesnt work that weel with Opera.

Its means this problem never be troubleshooted.......??

Which site are you uploading to?
Are you using a flash based uploader?
If you use mediafire, use the basic uploader.

Also check the version number of your flash player here. Version number of the latest flash player is mentioned at the bottom of the same page.

And yes the problem mentioned by Rahimveron does exist. Interestingly it does not happen in Firefox on Windows ! So I guess it may be a flash problem !

This mean flash sucks in linux .
