Re: Post what you purchased.

1. Purchase Date: Ordered online 27 Mar 08; Received on 19 Apr 08.
2. Hardware Purchased with date: 2 GB OCZ Reaper HPC PC-8500 (5-5-5-15) Dual Channel kit with EPP; Total cost 98 Euros (88 for RAM+10 Euros for Courier) + 800 INR Customs Duty.
3. Purchased from: memoryc.com
4. Place of purchase: From Ireland. I live in Bangalore.
5. Other Products Considered: 2 GB OCZ Platinum XTC PC-8500 (5-5-5-15)dual Channel Kit-54 Euros; 2 GB OCZ Flex XLC Dual Channel Kit PC-9200 (5-5-5-18)-132 Euros.
6. Any problems after purchase: No problems with the RAM.

After Installing in the PC, the memory speed displayed in the cpuz is PC-5300 (333MHz) & in Everest Ultimate the speed is displayed as 667MHz & EPP it is displayed as 1066 MHz. I am not sure whether the purchased RAM is as per the rated speed or have they sent me a lower speed RAM instead of 1066 MHz RAM???

C2D E6600 @ 3476 MHz (386x9); ASUS P5W DH Dlx WiFi; XFX 7900GT OCed @ 545/810 MHz; OCZ PC-8500 (4-4-4-12) Nvidia SLI RAM; Antec 650W Trio PSU; Antec 900 Case; ThermalRight Ultra 120 CPU cooler; 1180 GB Storage; MicroTek TwinGuard 1KVA UPS; ASUS + Sony DVD-RW Drives; Cooler Master North Bridge LED Fan; Logitech MX518 (1800dpi) Gaming Mouse & TVS Gold KeyBoard; Creative 2.1 Speakers; Philips 109B 19" CRT F&FS Monitor.

The Blister Pack as well as the sticker clearly depicts the RAM as "PC-8500 1066MHz (5-5-5-15) Dual Channel Kit". But cpuz shows the RAM speed as PC-5300. Can some one clarify?

Can u post some screen shots from CPU-Z?
I m sure its showing 533MHZ in memory tab, this is because we have Double Data Rate(DDR/2/3) memory.
It is 1066MHz memory which u can see as:
533x2 = 1066Mhz.

But please post some screenshots!

Re: Post what you purchased.

^ Yes u should and also select the PCI-E in BIOS settings in Display.
And ur RAM is 533MHz not 333MHz or u can write PC5300.

Sorry they can't give you 24". They haven't any model bigger than 19" and only the one I have bought is available in 19" category right now. May be later but not right now, I asked them and they have confirmed it.

Dude post the address.

Regarding to your HDD ?

What you are going to do with those 32MB buffer 250GB HDD's ? Are you running a server or planing for heavy gaming ?
I think 8-16MB buffer for a 250GB hdd is more than enough for desktop use.
