But i also use7-Zip extensively. Especially for extracting files.

One might say 7z compressed better but i've tested , results vary , sometimes 7z compressed more than RAR , sometimes less/

+1 for WinRar. Though I have heard much about 7-zip, but I'm addicted to WinRar, so can't change. If need extreme compression, Uharc ftw.

I used IZArch but for some time I am using 7-zip. It's simple, small, and does it's job efficiently.

even I use winrar - still using version 3.80 -It's stable , easy to use, feature rich and feels good

Another one I use is ( for extracting files only ) Universal Extractor - it's very powerful and can even extract installer files and free to use
