Buy Redmi 6 (5.45" screen) or Honor 7A (5.7") from Flipkart during the upcoming sale for 8k.

If you can spend more, get Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 at 10k, a much better device compared to those two at 2k extra. All of them have dedicated micro SD card slot, so 3GB/32GB variant is enough.

If you can spend 9k then Asus zenfone max pro 3GB variant is best option

K8 might seem to be a good phone but I doubt it has good dev support & is running on android 7.1 when most phones are at least running on 8 & 9 is the latest version. Check xda on how the development scene is. Moto G5S plus is good at 9k & should have custom ROMs but just get Asus Zenphone at that price (9k) with the HDFC offer (even Moto is at 10k w/o bank offer).

The 32 GB version costs 9k after 10% HDFC discount. But the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB version is also just 9,898. Which is a steal deal for Snapdragon 636 proccy phone.

Yeah, you can put 2-3k more for 6GB if you need better cameras.
