Yes

4. Preferred choice of brand?
Would want to avoid brands with heavy UIs like MIUI so no Xiaomi

5. What camera option you want (flash, front facing camera)?
Somewhat decent camera will do

6. Preferred operating system? (Android, iOS,Stock Android etc).
Stock or lightly skinned Android

7. Preferred connectivity options (Dual 4G,802.11AC/5Ghz(not 5g mobile network) wifi).
4G+ VoltE, Dual band WiFi

8. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, internet, gaming etc)?
Basic Usage , Facebook, Whatsapp , Youtube and casual pictures

9. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?
Moto E40
Realme Narzo 50a

Look for moto G series under 12k, it has better specs and exactly the ui u need.


Realme earlier was good but now it has also become heavy and ad laden

I think there's an upcoming sale on flipkart from dec 16 with sbi card. Hopefully, they should have the g31 back in stock by then . Not sure if it will be applicable on the model though since it is newly launched

Yep. I actually ordered the E40 and then canceled it when I saw the sale is coming.

Dont go with Motorola but go with Nokia.
Because Motorola does not honor warranties but Nokia honors and gives a replacement in time. Personal experience.
Nokia has Android One programme useful for Senior citizens.

The Nokia phone is underpowered, especially for the price. I don't want the phone to start lagging after a year.

How is Samsung One UI ? Tbh I have always avoided Samsung phones because I have heard Exynos chips are shit.

Lower end exynos are used like 9611 Chips in almost 15 phones
But good software updates
Monthly and quarterly updates
I bought my m31s when it was running android 10 now I am running 11 and am eligible for 12 even

One ui is good , using in s9 , s9+ , m31 and f41. No ads , ( you must manually disable ad options in sertings) no lag and regular security and os updates . No lag and bug free atleast for my usage .
