No fast charging after installing custom ROM

Hello guys,

Recently, I decided to root my Nexus 7 2013 and install Chroma custom rom. I noticed that my charging speed has drastically reduced even though Iam using a 2.1A charger.

I also installed elementalx kernel and activated fast USB charge in vain.

Before installing custom rom, my tab used to take 4 to 5 hrs for full 0 to 100% charge. But now, it takes 11 hours to charge till 50%..

Any help? Is there any other way to improve my charging speed?

I suggest! Go back to stock and reflash the most renowned ROM in your forum!
