Not much into gaming. but would like if it can play the angrybirds

11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?
HTC Explorer
BlackBerry Curve 8520

My budget is max 10 k
and i read that blackberry have reduced their prices. Is blackberry better
alternative over low budget androids.

Am not much into applications and gamings.. just casual net surfing over mobile is what i would like to have. I believe all the applications eat into your battery

. I want a phone which can be used for an year or so , after which i will upgrade into a high end one

BB Curve 8520 doesnt have HSPA. Also, it packs a ultra-low resolution of 240x320. Buy it only if you are a fan of BB. BB devices are over-priced.

BB 8520 is not a good one, better go for BB 9300. In that you get 3G with extra RAM and better processor.
And I think for your requirements BB is a good option. But you won't be able to play angry birds on it ;)

I bought a Explorer recently for 9200. The phone is too good and considered the best in this range (<10K). You can play angry birds, but it does not have autofocus and front facing camera.
