I got my PC with the following config..
i5 2320
DH67CL
Corsair GS 600
CM Elite 310
LG DVD 22x
No Graphics card
WD 500 GB
APC 600 va UPS
I have partitioned and installed Win 7 Home Premium and Ubunutu 11.10
Both were working fine.. I ensured that I apply all Windows; acrobat and adobe flash updates.
I installed AVG Antivirus and updated DB and program also.
I used to get occasional freezes in Win 7. Now for the past 2 days, Win 7 freezes after logging on. I can atmost do 1 or 2 actions after logon.
For eg. I can open control panel and my system and then it goes to freeze.. (cursor can be moved but no click works.. task manager doesnt work, no response for ctrl-alt-del)
I have scanned using AVG Virus scan.. it reports nothing.
I am able log into safe mode and device manager reports no issues
I have run RAM test.. it looks fine (short and long)

I am able to log into Ubunutu... but my Gmail doesnt work in firefox/ Chrome..
(Gmail is working fine in Win 7/ IE!!)..

Please help on how to trouble shoot further
1. I am not sure if this is any driver problem
2. or Virus problem... can I rely on AVG?
