Networking problem plz help

I have a home network as shown in this picture

1. PC>Windows 7 64 bit ultimate>Kaspersky Internet security 2010
2. Netbook> Windows 7 32bit starter>Norton Internet security 2011
3. Printer with wifi

I can share internet connection with any device in network, I can use the printer by any device. But I cant Share/transfer files between my notebook and desktop PC. Please help me

What steps did you follow to share files b/w the two devices??

In win 7 share go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center
then go to Advanced sharing settings and made changes at your requirement.

Use TeamViewer for transferring files.

Hi,
pls verify that the firewall is turned off.if the problem exists ,put ur data in the public folder of the user and turn on public folder sharing.
