neeed help on usb pci

i have compaq presario series pc:-

System Model=AU801AA-ACJ CQ3150IX
Processor=Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz, 2933 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)

my all back usb ports are gone,now i want to add usb pci card so it will be helpfull,but i m confused which one ?

please suggest me any cheaper and better one

on mother board it is written MS 7525

if you are adding vai PCI why not go for 3.0? i am pretty sure i saw a 3.0 PCI for .5k with 4 slots

That does not matter because you would be using pci slot through which usb ports will work but it is a waste to use usb 3 card in a pci slot.Your mobo has pci-e slot so you can get usb 3 pci-e card & though it will be much costlier but it will also be much much better speed-wise.btw where is this 0.5k pci usb 3 card,as far as i know all good pci usb 3 card are pci-e.

USB 3.0 requires a minimum pci express x1 to deliver sub optimal usb 3.0 speeds.Even PCIE X1 cannot provide enough bandwidth thats why its kinda better to go for a PCIE X4 based USB 3.0 card which is a bit expensive..
I dont think OP's mobo has PCI express slots as he stated he requires PCI based ones (which only come for USB 2.0)..
Look for Transcend, Anker and NEC ..they make the best ones available in india..
going for a zebby one will save some cash though

actually main reason to add pci card is that none of my usb port detect my new trascend HDD,WTF it is detected in my friend's lappy and pc but not in my

I dont exactly remember whether it was PCI or PCIe but it was surely aroun .5k. Maybe prices have increased as it was about 3-4 months back when i saw it.
