Need to buy a laptop under 20k

Need to buy a laptop under 20K with requirements of great battery life, fast processing with 2GB RAM and hard disk around 250 or 320GB. My brother is pursuing B.Sc IT studies and wish to gift him a better machine.

Kindly help me out with this one.

only recommended if someone wants a Netbook specifically. without DVD drive & a small 11.6" screen. though looks good but this is not a full laptop.

Within 20K, i don't think 2nd Gen dual core B940/B950 will be available, you have to look for Intel 1st generation DUal cores like P6100/P6200. But I'll suggest to increase your budget to 22K range and get the Laptop Sam has suggested. Asus also has couple of B940 based models available on that range. 2nd Gen Dual cores are almost equal to 1st gen Core i3 processors in terms of performance and lot more power efficient. Also the HD 2000 Graphics is far better than the 1st gen Core based Graphics.
