Just buy a 1TB Seagate Hard disk which will cost around 3.6k or less & will come with 32mb buffer for better seeking. I have long used Seagate & this is some brand you can bank upon. Don't ever go with samsung though, they are horrible. Also if this is your first hard disk or an upgradation from a very low capacity consider buying a 2TB which will cost around 5 to 6k & will eliminate the need for upgrade in future when SSD will become cheap to splurge upon than spending on a decade-old HD.

You have not specified a lot of things for a ood suggestion in returns. You did not mention that if you want a internal or external one.
However, an internal Seagate 1 TB HDD will cost you around 2.7K. It comes with 32 MB buffer and 7200 rpm speed.
An 2.5" external one will cost you around 5K. It does not require external power.
