Hi guys,

I need help in buying a new laptop. I have filled the questionnaire

1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
Atmost 40k INR

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen or Desktop Replacement; 17"+ screen

3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like:
b. Dislike: Toshiba, Acer

4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Presentations, Watching HD movies, surfing

5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?
I would be watching HD movies...so which ever screen resolution suits that.
Matte/Gloss doesn't matter

6) Anything else you would like to say?
a)I would prefer the double generation Intel versions.i.e i3,i5,i7
b)Also OS is Microsoft Windows 7 Home or Professional

All advise/help is greatly appreciated..
Thanks in advance
c)Hard disk more than 500 GB storage capacity

Best bet: Samsung NP300E5Z-S08IN 2 Gen Ci5/4GB/750GB/1GB graphics/DOS @ 35k. Just buy an OS with the extra money.

The Samsung model I suggested has better graphics + 750GB HDD vs 500GB HDD. And you can get a win HP in remaining money but Inspiron is giving you HB. Also, personally I don't like the keyboard of Inspiron.

Here are the options available for you:
With Intel HD3000
Asus P53E-SO059D
Samsung NP300E5Z-A0PIN
With Dedicated 1GB graphics:
Asus X53SC-SX492D( it also has a USB 3.0)
And if you want a Sony then you can consider this:
Sony VAIO E Series VPCEH38FN

And also the one suggest above by sujay is also good.
