any mobile with less than 512MB ram should be strictly avoided. check if you can find Huawei X5 U8800 or X5 Pro for 7-7.5k.

I am now listing my preferred options under 8k in no particular order.
-Samsung Galaxy Chat
-Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite (Op's first choice)
-HTC Explorer

And as Sam says ,Huawei ideos X5 Pro is a brilliant phone.

Micromax A68 & Karbonn A15 both has 512MB ram and cost less than 6.5k. A68 you'll have to source in from flipkart. thats the easiest way or visit Mobile Store. They should have it but A15 is even more difficult to find. Avoid Ninjas. They have same 256MB ram.

yes.
ninjas even have very bad response on flipkart but the shops say, "no no problem there."
the problem is :
i have wasted time since 15 whole days trying to find mmx a68 on web.
flipkart has it "out of stock"
i checked it almost 15 times since then , almost every day in a hope that it will be available someday :p
but no luck till now..:-(

if anyone finds Micromax a68 anywhere, please post.

moreover,
a68 is the only micromax android in this range without any bad response on Fk

i dont want to buy karbon as it does not have google certification :

anyways, found this while going through flipkart :
hehehe

I am on the same boat and I have selected A15. A person on the other forum had bought A15 from HS18 for 4425 earlier and currently it is selling for Rs.5200 on Indiatimes.com

May we again get this deal in few day time.

karbon does NOT have google playstore certification, so you have to download apk files using a downloader app or an extension on your pc
and for that too, you have to have another android phone or bluestacks installed..
its whole lot of troubles buddy..
ofcourse one can use other websites like 1mobile, getjar, etc.
