None, but should give best VFM


4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?

Income tax and insurance software, Email, surfing net, Occasinal movie,
Dual boot Win 7 and ubuntu or other linux distros

i would like to game will be good if it can play games at lower setting playable (optional)

5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?


1333 x 768 standard resolution not sure about glossy or matte

6) Anything else you would like to say? (eg: local purchase, ASS,matte/glossy finish)

i will be carrying this netbook or laptop with me all day and may type some email daily, will be good if it can play some old games lke AOE, COD etc...

4 gb ram (or 2gb later i can ugrade to 4 gb)

under 20k all netbooks are packed with extremely slow processor. Cheapest netbook worth considering will cost you 22k or more.
instead invest in a 15" if you can carry it around.

no man i can carry a 15" laptop all day on my back, what is alternative for me now, please help. i dont even find good 14" laptops around 20k

my usage is office application, income tax and insurance software and emails etc. i will use ubuntu or mint on it with dual bot with win 7

please help me guys

ok so i have been to lamington road today to check for the laptop and all shops are quoting around 20k for a netbook, so after very much thinkging i have decided to drop idea of 12" netbook, so i will buy now a full featured 14" laptop with DVD and better specs.

is that HP 430 is good for mobility.. i asked some shop and it is priced at 3ok+ where on flipkart it is availale at 27k i though i might get it around 25k after bargaining, but it seems i need to wait more or look sothing else

go for the Acer if you want power and ready to sacrifice battery life. Go for netbooks with E2-1800 if you want more battery life but slightly less power. The PDC in Acer 756 is a low clocked processor so performance is equal to E2-1800. Else try to find this subnotebook: Asus U32U. Sujay has it and is (was, now discontinued) one of the best in its class.

Thanks Sam but now i have increased my budget to upto 25k and will like to go for a 14 inch i3 or equavalant lappy, please suggest me som, how is Fujistu and Toshiba they are cheap, i have also seen some PDC . please suggest

also there are no E2 1800 laptop available in market, and if there are any theay are priced very high as compare to what they offer
